The difference between relay and solid-state controllers is important to understand to prevent damage to your controllers and devices.

Controller Identification

To identify if your controller is relay based or solid-state based (Aamon series) look at how the outputs are labelled.

Relay controllers will have the following: C, NO, NC Solid-State controllers will have the following: + and -
